Translation Notes:

With the line, "no matter what I do, I'm rolling in manure fields" Yoongi is basically saying that nothing he does is good enough for some people. But if BTS don't do what they do, then who will?

I actually have a bone to pick with the Map Of The Soul lyrics book here, because I think the English ones are wrong in Namjoon's verse. Official lyrics are "baby i'm nothin-er than nothin, lighter than the light" and then "you say i'm somethin-er than somethin, lighter than the light".
 I would swear on my life that he says "you say i'm somethin-er than somethin, brighter than the light". Which makes more sense to me anyway. "Somethin-er than somethin" is a contrast to the previous "nothin-er than nothin" so the following line should contrast the previous "lighter than the light" as well. Anyway. Lyrics book, I trusted you, and you have failed me.
